Navarātri is one of the traditional periods dedicated to Devī, the Goddess, and to the many forms through which Śakti is understood and worshipped.

In this gathering, we’ll spend some time exploring Śakti as the power of manifestation and transformation, and the different ways the Goddess is approached through form, poetry, mantra and devotion.

DURING THE EVENT, WE'LL MOVE THROUGH:

short introduction to Śakti
readings from devotional poetry to Mā
mantra with harmonium
guided meditation
moments of silence and contemplation

No previous knowledge is needed!

This is simply a space to come together, listen, chant and approach the tradition through the practice of devotion.

We’ll begin at 18:00, as the light begins to shift toward evening.

The ending time is not fixed.
Please allow for some flexibility, as the gathering may naturally extend a little bit beyond 19:30.

Please arrive a few minutes before the beginning so we can
start together.

CONTRIBUTION

This gathering is offered on a sliding-scale donation basis.
Minimum contribution: €10
Suggested contribution: €15-20
